What is Friend of Harpoon?

The Friend of Harpoon program is a customer loyalty program that allows Harpoon Brewery to maintain contact with the loyal customers of the brewery. To do this, Harpoon works with retailers, restaurants, and entertainment venues around New England to give Friends of Harpoon access to specials that are not available to the general public. The program is not an income source for Harpoon. The Friend of Harpoon Card is our way of saying thank you to our loyal customers.

How did the Friend of Harpoon program start?

Harpoon Brewery began collecting mailing addresses from Festival attendees about eight years ago with the goal of communicating information on future Festivals to this list. The program has grown and evolved over time; now, the list is strictly e-mail only and people from many different points of contact with Harpoon Brewery are signing up each and every day. There are currently more than 70,000 Friends of Harpoon.
